Travelling by train and hiking – go to Grimmiwasser, the energy hotspot, and refuel
Apart from the Grimmimutz adventure trail, the Grimmialp holiday and day trip destination also offers a 3-person chair lift in summer and autumn. This opens up a magnificent hiking area with an impressive alpine panorama.
The hike to the power place Grimmiwasser is especially recommended. From the Stierenberg mountain station, the wide alpine path leads only slightly uphill to Grimmi. Small mountain lakes can be seen again and again. At an altitude of 1840 m.a.s.l., a little off the trail, there are the "Roten Quellen" (ferruginous water). This water used to be used as healing water in the health resort Grimmialp. Rare alpine flowers and the springs act as natural energy dispensers. At the latest at Alp Grimmi it is time for a short break before the descent. If you are lucky, you will see chamois from here.
From the mountain station, other exciting hiking routes and alpine taverns are waiting to be discovered.
